| Stories I am the owner of a Cal 39 Mk III 1983, Hull #161 and this is my 12th year of ownership. She is Canadian registered out of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia as ' First Light IV ' . We have sailed her to Bermuda, Newfoundland and all over Nova Scotia logging over 16,000 nm since buying her. I love the way this boat sails and she still has the original Pathfinder diesel which continues to purr season after season. I would be happy to share information with other Cal 39 owners. Major upgrades include new rudder in 2004, electric windlass in 2005, new standing rigging in 2007 and rewiring in 2002. Also my boat was built in Tampa, Florida after Bangor Punta. left Fall River, Mass. Top |
