Stories I have bought the boat from Mr Crum. He lived in Amsterdam. You can mentioned this on the Roster page. When we bought the boat it was a real American boat, with a 110 Volt installation, an American telephone, an old Loran C, a mariphone which was not permitted in the Netherlands. The Volkswagen engine was bad. (low compression). We instalated a new engine a Lister LPW3 of 26,9 Hp, a new mariphone, gps and other instuments as log, speed, depth. Last year we have made a new 230 V installation and installed a new boiler. Many years we have berthed our boat behind our house in Aalsmeer. From this place we have made trips to the IJsselmeer and the North Sea. We have visited the island Texel many times. Last year the Marina Monnickendam is our home harbour. Next year the boat will stay there too. Monnickendam is a small town on the border of the IJsselmeer. Top |
